An Introduction to the No Iron Shirt
It all started with a visit to my parents house. While flipping through clothing catalogs, I noticed that my mother had dog eared several pages with crisp button down shirts on them. There were colour variations, and some detail differences, but mainly just an awful lot of similar blouses. Not only was there tremendous repetition in the selections she had made, but she has numerous button downs.
Come to find out, the shirts she had marked also have one other thing in common, they are wrinkle proof. Or, have a shelf life for being wrinkle free without requiring ironing, or professional pressing. Apparently, they can be washed a certain number of times before the chemical they have been set in wears off.
Anyway, mama bear swears by these shirts, so I borrowed one for a test drive. And, surprise, surprise I loved the thing. I will be implementing at the very least a black and a white one asap into my wardrobe.
