How to Strategically Place the Focus on Your Finest Accessories

Sure I am a huge proponent of super swanky shoes, handbags, and all other accessories, but what might not be evident is how I think they are often best paired with basics.  My belief system says to let the bling sing, yup I did actually just write that. Well it got your attention, and you definitely got the message. Let those items that you scrimped and saved for take center stage. The best way to do that is to choose simple pieces of clothing that provide a steady backdrop for the goods.

The first things that come to mind are classic jeans, blazers, and even vests. Those put together with white shirts of any nature are virtually foolproof. Whether it be white button downs, white tanks, white tees, or white frilly blouses, white is the key in this image.

But, I will mention, unless you are a wizard with cleaning your clothes, white shirts need to be replaced often. Spills and stains will not gain approval, just a grimace and a head shake. For it is all so easy, and can be super inexpensive to pull together, but dirty is not the basic that we are talking about.
