Give Yourself Permission to Spruce Up Your Workout Clothes
Many of us who workout at home, do so in some incredibly outdated, and faded clothes. Workout pants that used to be full length yoga pants, and now resemble a capri length hybrid. Oh and the tops, well they used to be bright and cheery, plus they used to cover up our tummies. Now, we tug at them as we bend and stretch to keep our would be muffin tops concealed.
It seems like a constant inner struggle when it comes to the decision to clear out some of these past their prime pieces. On one hand, it is wasteful to discard clothes just because they are not snazzy anymore. And if nobody is going to see us in these hideous outfits, then why shell out the money.
On the other side of the argument, how inspired to get fit can you get in workout clothes that make you look ill proportioned and restrict full motion. And as for the appearance, should we not be dressing for ourselves, and not the approval of others at all times.
Give yourself the ok to bring your workout garbs into the present. You are after all doing something good for yourself, and should reward yourself from time to time for your actions. And if this is not enough of a reason, remember anybody can ring your doorbell at anytime, and you would not want to scare them with your awful attire.
